Strategic Partnership with Unicef
As a centerpiece of Mobile Mandate, frog will serve as the lead design and innovation partner for UNICEF’s Innovation Group. One major initiative includes our work on an mHealth program to improve maternal and infant health and welfare in peri-urban Malawi and rural Zambia. The project identified innovative ways to leverage mobile technologies to increase mothers' visits to clinics.
Most recently, we collaborated on a program to support Community Health Workers—the “Last Mile” in global healthcare delivery. Together, frog and UNICEF have created a system-level view for how countries could adopt and deploy mobile solutions at a number of different levels in the community health system.
Looking ahead, frog will help UNICEF to explore the role of design in their organization, leading to a broader definition of a strategic design model that can engage UNICEF’s country offices, governments, and other constituents.
